Coronavirus – Scientists revealed how infection appeared in Hungary
Hungarian scientists examined the end of the first month when the coronavirus appeared in the country just after the restrictions were introduced to slow down the spreading. By complex genetical analysis, the experts were able to set up a model that reveals how the infection got into the country and how it spread among people.

24.hu reported that the infection got into Hungary with massive spreading from several European regions. When the restrictions were introduced, many people from abroad returned to Hungary as soon as possible, which also meant that more than half of them carried the virus and gave it away to other people. In some rare cases, scientists also found that the virus arrived from the USA and China.
Local infections outside the capital appeared somewhere in the middle of March. The experts emphasised that the restrictions of Central-Europe were announced just in time to prevent massive spreading and to avoid Hungary and other countries to become the centres of the infection.Â
The pandemic has not come to an end with the easing of the restrictions. The government and scientists warn everyone that from now on a new part of our life would be new regulations and to obey them. Every citizen needs to act carefully and think before they act. Furthermore, the quick reaction from healthcare institutions and services will play an essential part in the following period and when the second-wave of the coronavirus reaches Hungary and the region.
Scientists warned everyone not to be delusional because the infection is still here with us.
